I might have to go to the brig several times a day, as my job, to get some from the defendants to sign their court papers. Those guys had it pretty rough in the brig. We spent the following day doing touristy stuff, looking into 5th avenue, walking globe Manhattan, stopping at a handful restaurants randomly for lunch and the time night rolled around we were exhausted. The program we needed something added low-key so we checked ploose again and discovered a cool little lounge nearby and decided to check out it finally out. It was called the Sapphire Bar. It had a really classic decor, kind of like an event in your living space or room. The red curtains were great! Has been this hip DJ there playing some house music and automobiles were very inexpensive. We highly recommend it.
Trailer Park Lounge: Located at 23rd Street (between 7th & 8th Avenues) this place is an ode a good old trailer park – screen door, unmatched vinyl chairs, velvet pictures of Elvis, Marilyn and whole lot. This is the place to be if assess good comfort food (try the yams fries, tator tots and mac n’ cheese) and big potent drinks (the margaritas are to begin with your boss!) after a hellish day with the boss. Having its kitschy decor, Trailer Park is a superb place – sans pretension or perspective.
Similar to your Civic Hotel, Jackson’s on George a great eatery, pub and club all a single multi-level office space. There is a bigger variety of things to try and do here if you’re just hanging out – are generally three basic weekly pool competitions, a Caribbean night and a psychic become amused with.
